Note: Linda Sweeney April 2, 1950 - August 28, 2016
Linda Sweeney, 66 of Deer Park, Texas passed away August 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by a sister Beverly Tauch. Linda was the mom of three; Stephanie Salazar and husband Louis, two sons Robert and Asa Sweeney; grandchildren Heather Salazar Turner and husband Jeremiah, Lance and Kyle Morris; Audrey, Madelyn and Nolan Sweeney. Linda has one brother William; brother in law George Tauch; two nephews Brian and Mark Tauch. Linda loved her job and worked very hard. She instilled a great work ethic in her children. She was a great cook. Many memories involve southern fried cooked meals and big holiday dinners. She stayed in touch and loved her close friends from Texas City High School. They would go on mini vacations locally or have sleep overs often! They would stay up all night and laugh and remember good times together. They were great friends to her and we cannot thank them enough for all the support over the years keeping her involved and getting her out of the house. Her illness made her weak but they all gave her strength to enjoy life. Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park with Pastor Jerry Garner officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until Service time.
