Note: Feb. 22, 1944 - Aug. 24, 2008 Liston Leroy Sisco, 64, of Jefferson went home to Jesus on Sunday. He was born in Antlers, Okla., the son of Bob Stancle and Sina Mozella (Rush) Sisco. Leroy moved to Oregon in the 1950s, and did farming until 1971. He then worked for the Jefferson Woolen Mill until 2001 when the business closed. He also was caretaker at the Jefferson Cemetery for 18 years. Leroy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a wonderful, loving, caring man, an exceedingly excellent father, friend and husband. He will be mourned and missed by the many people he touched with his caring, laughter and generosity. He married Delores Richardson on June 10, 1968, in Vancouver, Wash. They divorced. He married D.J. Bernardo in Reno, Nev., on June 22, 2002. Leroy is survived by his wife, D.J.; children BobbyJoe Liston and Arron Michael both of Jefferson, Brandon Leroy of La Pine, Candace Roseann Holder of La Pine, Erica Ramsier of Exeter, Calif., Ali Atchison of Lebanon and Shawna Atchison of Jefferson; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, John William, James Burton, Bobby Ray, and Joe Earl. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Abundant Life Center in Jefferson. Arrangements are by Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington St. S.W., Albany, OR 97321.
