a. Note:   Online Edition, Pine Bluff Commercial Mae Leamons May 13, 1912-August 26, 2006 ROWELL — Mae A. Herrington Leamons, 94, of the Rowell community near Rison died Saturday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff. She was born May 13, 1912, at Palmyra, a daughter of the late Jim Anderson and Myrtle Conner Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, John Herrington and Joe Leamons, a son, Jim Herrington, two grandchildren, Shirley Johnson Burr and Virginia Mae Murphey, two brothers, and four sisters. Survivors include a son, James Herrington of Rowell; two daughters, Mary Johnson of Rowell and Myrtle Felts of Lake Village; two brothers, Treaver Anderson of Pine Bluff and Roy Anderson of Monticello; two sisters, Vada Montgomery of Star City and Allie Jean Davis of Fordyce; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Buie Funeral Home of Rison with Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
