Note: Eugene was Thelma Madera's son by Lee Harvey Aldrich and was adopted by Joe Leamons. Birth: May 29, 1933 Arkansas, USA Death: May 6, 2017 El Dorado Union County Arkansas, USA Herman Eugene Leamons, 83, of El Dorado, AR. passed away May 6, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Born May 29, 1933 to the late Joe Mack and Thelma Aline Madiava Leamons. Herman was retired veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the Local 706 and 155 Plumber and Pipe fitters Union. He is also a member of the VFW and 32nd Degree Shriner. He loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dorothy Freeman Leamons to whom he married September 28, 1953. Survivors include one daughter, Denise Thompson (Michael), one grandson, Shawn Michael Thompson, two great-grand children, Madalynn Zada Thompson and Lennon Alexander Thompson. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 with Funeral services begin at 2pm. Both services at Perry’s Funeral Chapels in El Dorado.
