Note: 26, in Paris to Ray and Emme Riley Gattis. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always welcoming new members into the family with grace and generosity. Through the years, she was employed by Weldon, Williams and Lick, Johnson-Sayers and Skinner and Riggs photography studios. She also worked at Greggs and Fashion Accessories. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Green; and husband, Spence A. Leamons. Louise was a member of First Methodist Church in Fort Smith for over 60 years and attended Victory Church in Fort Smith. Louise is survived by two daughters, Charlotte White and Pam Brooks, both of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Jess Shaffer (Jessica), and Adam Shaffer; four stepgrandchildren, Shawn Shaffer (Nicole), Dawn France (Buck), Anthony Brooks and Daniel Brooks; daughter-in-law, Christine Shaffer; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as four great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Service and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank Peachtree Hospice and Home Instead for their loving care. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and to Victory Church Missions Department.
