Note: tered his heavenly reward on Monday evening, July 29, 2019. Burl was born October 13, 1932 and was the youngest of six children born to Ernest and Nellie Jane Langley Leamons. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Forrest, Glen, Doyle, Paul and Beth. Burl married the love of his life, Charlene Harden Leamons, on December 16th, 1956. He and “My Bugger,” as he called her, were married for 62 years. Besides his wife, Charlene, Burl is survived by his three daughters, Renda Clark and her husband, Kim, of Gilbert, AZ, Retha Robinson and her husband, Mark, of Searcy, AR and Ranan Hester and her husband, Terry, also of Searcy, AR. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Brandon Clark and his wife, Allison, Daysha Clark, Elisa Goodwin and her husband, Kory, Jared Clark, Zach Robinson and his wife, Kelsy, Bryn Hester, Colton Robinson and T. J. Hester along with two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Ada Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Burl served in the United States Air Force 1952 to 1956 and retired after 45 years at International Paper Company. Burl’s greatest accomplishment was his dedication in serving God and serving in the church. He was an active member of Stephens church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 Friday. A funeral service celebrating a life well lived will be held on Saturday, August 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Proctor Chapel followed by interment at Copeland Ridge cemetery near Curtis, AR. Deacon in the Cullendale Church of Christ, Camden Arkansas.
