  Hugh E. Leamons Sr. (July 2, 1923 - November 17, 2009)
  Hugh E. Leamons Sr. age 86 of Arkadelphia died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Little Rock. He was born July 2, 1923 in Clark County the son of Claude J. and Luby Smith Leamons. Mr. Leamons was a retired Civil Service worker, a U. S. Army veteran of WWII, a 32nd Degree Mason and of the Church of Christ Faith.
  Survivors include his wife Marcelle Massey Leamons, one son Hugh Leamons Jr., two daughters, Brenda Carpenter and Lana Shuck, five grandchildren, Jerry Carpenter, Jason Shuck, Chance Leamons, Ashley Leu and Melissa Davis, three great grandchildren, Alyssa Carpenter, Lyla Davis and Karys Marcelle Leu.
  Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Joshua Leu officiating with burial in the Davis Cemetery near Vaden. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, November 23 at the funeral home.
