Sidonia (Sedony?) Lemons listed on page immediately before. Samuel married again to Mariah Hardy, 11 Nov 1871, Red River Parish, Louisiana. Notes for SAMUEL HARRIS NORRID: 1830 Census, Claiborne Parish, p. 233 shows a Samuel Norrid with 1 m 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 60-70 and 1 female 50-60. I believe this to be Saml H.'s parents --Samuel & Charity and his brother William R. See 1840 Leake Co., Ms. Census records. I cannot prove where Samuel H. & Tabbitha are buried--they are probably in un-marked graves at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bienville Parish, LA. The 1860 Bienville Parish, La. Census was destroyed; hence no record of them for that year. Voter registration in Red River Parish in 1872 states that he came to LA. in 1826. Writing in Bible Records appears to be the same as his signature on voter registration. Land Records--both Bienville & Natchitoches Parish--see his folder.
