a. Note:   d Saturday, Feb. 3, 1973 in a Garland hospital. Funeral serrvices were held Monday in Leverett and Steele Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Elsom officiating. Interment was made in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Mr. Hedrick was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Honey Grove, son of J.W. and Mary E. Brewer Hedrick. He married Juanita Kindle in Paris on Jan. 10, 1949. He served in Europe with the U.S. Army during World Wars I and II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association, and was employed as a custodian by Daughtrey School in Garland. Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Emmitt Hedrick of Honey Grove and Flem Hedrick of Hale Center; three sisters, Mrs. Sally Mayson, Mrs. Effie McQueen and Mrs. Ruby Williamson, all of Dallas, and numerous nieces and nephews.'
