Note: Perryton Herald, 1969 Hickey Rites Set Thursday at Full Gospel Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Full Gospel Church for Rufus Hickey, 56, a long time resident of Perryton who died Monday evening in Ochiltree General Hospital. He had lived in Perryton for the past 22 years and had been employed as a mechanic. Rev. Harold Waterbury will conduct the final rites. Pallbearers are M. E. Has, Jack Cox, Donald Flowers, T. Leroy Smith, James Gray and Louis Bryan. Survivors include his wife, Verlin; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Kesterson of Huntsville, Texas and Mrs. Bobby Arnold of Perryton; a son, Bill Hickey of Houston; four brothers, O. W. Hickey of Perryton, L. J. Hickey of Crowley, La., C. A. Hickey of Eldorado, Ark., Scott Hickey of Delight, Ark., Archie Hickey of Murfreesboro, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Audie Smith of Sadger, Michigan; and six grandchildren. Interment is to be in Ochiltree Cemetery.
