Note: ormerly of Mexia, died August 23, 2002 in Alpine, Texas. Graveside services were held Sunday, August 25, at Tehuacana Cemetery with Rev. Tom Prentiss officiating. Mr. Rudder was born July 10, 1946 in Corsicana. He had lived most of his life in Mexia moving the last few months to Alpine. He was a mechanic and had served in the Air Force from 1968 - 1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Beldin Rudder of Alpine; mother, Martha Jo Rudder of Mexia; sister, Renell Perrotti of Mexia; stepson, Desmond Routh of Mexia, Dillon and Brandon Routh of Florida; nephew, Louis Perrotti; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Larry Parr, Richard Woods, Joseph McKeon, Jon Phillips, Danny Adams, Jimmy Gore. Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia was in charge of arrangements.
