From an unnamed and undated article located in the Lamar County Genealogical Society Library, in the Taylor Collection, Box K. 'Jesse E. (Jack) Kindle, 74, a retired Lamar County bridge crew employee, living at 804-12th NE, died of illness Tuesday about 7:30 p.m.. in St. Joseph's Hospital. Friends will be received Tuesday between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home, where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. Born in East Post Oak community near Blossom, Jack Kindle was a son of Martin James Kindle and the former Sarah Holder. He married Laura Mae Pascal, who died in March, 1967. Surviving are three children: Jack Travis Kindle, Dallas; Odis B. Kindle, Corsicana; and Mrs. E.K. House, Paris; seven other descendants; and two sisters, Mrs. Villie G.
