Note: esday, July 21, 1999, at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Adams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born July 16, 1912, in Cooper to Frank and Florence Clifton Ward. He married Cathryn Lela Adams in Paris. She died in 1986. He owned and operated a wrecking yard in Venus. Surviving are a son, Edward Ward and wife Elma of Venus and a sister, Faye Osbourne of Sulphur Springs. Pallbearers will be David, William and Kirk Roberts, Eric Logan, Benny Morris and T. J. Jones.'
