Meredeth Austin Brazeel was born July 8, 1854 in Blount County, Alabama. He was the 8th child. His first marraige was in Blount County, Alabama. I'm not sure when he moved to Texas but it was after the 1880 census. He traveled via covered wagon with his first wife and at least two sons, we believe to join one of his brothers that was already in Texas. He married the second time to Martha Catherine Brown on Dec 30, 1886 in Sommerville, Texas. He and Martha are buried in the Vivian Cemetery, Caddo, Louisiana. He died Apr 10 1935.
