Faulkner and C. C. Shadel on charges of murder. Faulkner was indicted here in connection with the fatal stabbing of his wife, Mrs. Edith Norrid Honeycutt Faulkner, in a room at the Rainbow Hotel, 623 East Fourth, the morning of June 1. At that time, investigating officers said the defendant, a part time taxi driver, and his wife had been separated. The woman was found dead in the hotel room, with a pocket knife lying on the bed near the body. Cause of death was attributed to numerous stab wounds in her chest. The defendant pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned several weeks ago...
