Grace Eunice Norrid, age 86, passed from this life on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Deerings Nursing Center in Odessa. She was born in Amarillo, TX on November 10, 1923 to George and Grace (Henry) Turner. She was a retired self employed bookkeeper for Norrid Reproduction and Printing Company. Grace was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved china painting and was past President of the Permian Basin Porcelain Art Club. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church for the past year, previously a member of 2nd Baptist Church of Midland. Those left to cherish her love and memory include her husband: Don Norrid of Odessa; son: Larry Norrid and wife Sue of Odessa; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Her beloved daughter: Dinah Paris and her parents: George and Grace Turner, precede her in death. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Sherwood Baptist Church, 505 E. 42nd Street, officiated by Pastor Ivy Shelton. Services are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel. The family extends a special "Thank you!" to Home Hospice of Odessa and to Deerings Nursing Center.
