Born in Delight (Pike County), a son of John W. and Letha Sanders Gann, he was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church, Local 878 of the Teamsters Union and the Woodmen of The World. Survivors are a son, Lewis Gann of Pine Bluff, a daughter, Jewel Gann Nabors of Little Rock; four brothers, Paul Gann and Emmett Gann of California and John Gann and Jimmy Gann of Arkadelphia; two half-brothers, Pete Sparks of Cabot and Charlie Sparks of Arkadelphia; three sisters, Rosie Bostic of Little Rock, Mrs. Lonnie Sandlin of Battle Creek, Mich., and Margie Hunter of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth by Rev. J. Wayne Edwards and Rev. John Ross. Burial will be in Pine Crest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Henderson United Methodist Church.
