Note: SS 558-54-6008 issued, California Johnnie Ray was killed in a truck accident, a log truck just like his daddy. He was going to fast around a curve, and lost control. But he could have been asleep also, since every time he would come by Velma's house he would always say it was the first time in days that he was able to sleep. The telephone call came in the afternoon that Johnnie had died, my parents were at the Salton Sea in California at the time. It was my son David's birthday. I had to break the news to them. Johnnie use to take David for a ride in his big 18 wheeler when he was in town. Note by Sheila Johnson.
