 Wilma L. Ward, 76, of Paris passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Legends Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Bro. Harley Stripland officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hammond Ward; daughter, Cindy Ward; sister, Olla Fay Hastings; parents, Pete and Macel Ingram Smith. She is survived by her children, Johnny Ward, Betty Todd, Steve Ward; grandchildren, Johnny Ward Jr., Amanda Ward, Angela Ward, Cody Ward, Danny Emeyabbi, Jeremy Todd, Jennifer Rhodes; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry Lee Smith, Joe Smith; sisters, Wanda Brockway, Juanita Summers and Gladys Nijo.
