Note: dical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 4:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23rd, at the Open Air Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Doug Holt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Betty, the daughter of Hammond & Wilma Smith Ward, was born November 21, 1962, in Paris. She had worked at William’s Sporting Goods and at Camper Dan’s. Later she has been very active with the Farmer’s Market at the Market Square where she sold her farm raised vegetables, homemade pies and cobblers. Survivors include her husband, Dean Todd, whom she married in 1981, three children, Jennifer Bryan of Powderly, Jeremy Todd & wife Robbie of Bogata and Sarah Brown & husband Jacob of Powderly, three grandchildren, Jason Todd, Jacob Todd and Kinslee Burden, two brothers, Johnny Ward & wife Vickie of Paris and Steve Ward & wife Tammy of Roxton, an aunt, Eulalia Walker of Paris, a cousin, Vickey Luman of Paris along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
