Mr. Braden was a native of Kanawha, Texas. He lived in Livingston five months and previously lived in Lathrop, Turlock, Oakland and Empire. He was a crane operator and master mechanic in the Oakland shipyards; he belonged to Operating Engineers Union Local 3 for 49 years.
