Note: SS 430-56-1500 issued, Arkansas, last residence, Sparkman, Dallas County, Arkansas Jessie L. Leamons, age 70, of Sparkman, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003, in Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock.
Born November 27, 1932 at Manning, he was a son of Amos Leamons and Dora Dean Leamons.
He was a member of Ouachita Baptist Church and a supervisor for IP.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Leamons; two sons, Keith Leamons of Harmony Grove, Dan Leamons of Gurdon; one daughter, Karen Leamons Davis of Bearden; one brother, Albert Leamons of Sparkman; one sister, Janie Metzler of CT; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Daisy Joyce and Virtie May.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, in Shady Grove Baptist Church at Sparkman with Rev. Chris Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Holeman Cemetery at Sparkman by Benton Funeral home.
