  Edna Mae Upton, age 82, passed away Monday, November 25, 1996. Mrs. Winchester had lived her entire life in the Corpus Christi surrounding area, but had resided in St. Pauls for the past 15 years. She is survived by three daughters, Lois (Milton) Gibson of Corpus Christi, Texas, Pauline Linch of Three Rivers, Texas and Melba (A.C.) Wylie of Gonzales, Texas; a son, Howard Winchester of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Bob (Muriel) Upton and Harold (Rosemary) Upton, both of Aransas Pass, Texas; a sister-in-law, Margie Doyell of San Antonio, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Riley "Pistol" Winchester. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 1996 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. If friends so desire, memorials may be made to Spohn Hospice, 1660 S. Staples, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404.
