8-9-2002 Melba Joyce Wylie, 64, of Gonzales, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002 in a local hospital. She was born July 5, 1938 in Sinton to the late Riley and Edna Upton Winchester. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. She married her husband, Andy C. Wylie on October 1, 1955 in Corpus Christi. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Randy, D. Wylie of San Antonio, and Grover Wayne Wylie of Katie; four grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. Graveside services were held Friday, August 9, 2002 at 1:15 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Seydler-Hill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
