Note: Mrs. Lillian Pearl Leamons Gandy HAUGHTON, La.- Services for our beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Pearl Leamons Gandy, will be held at the Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City on Thursday, December 14, 1989 at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Milton Prothro of Haughton Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Haughton Cemetery.Mrs. Gandy died at Heritage Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born September 18, 1902 in Vivian, La.. She was of the Baptist faith and a resident of Haughton for over years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claiborne H. Gandy, Sr. and her eldest son, A.L. Gandy. She is survived by two sons, Claiborne Gandy Jr. and Robert A. Gandy; one step-son, Marvin Gandy; four daughters, Lorene Gandy McDaniel, Irene Gandy Pebworth, Jeanette Gandy McGee, Wanda Gandy Tallman, and a step-daughter, Lula Gandy Martin; one sister, Nancy Leamons Wise; two brothers, Clarence Leamons and Clyde Leamons; 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and three expectant.Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joseph A. Lucido, Gene Gandy, Robert Gandy, Jr., Steve Gandy, Larry Gandy and Glen Gandy.
