Haslet - Funeral services for Jess Franklin Brown, 69, were held December 19 at Shannon Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Worth, followed by burial at Justin Cemetery. Mr. Brown died December 16 at his home in Haslet and was the retired owner of Tri-County Butane Company. He was a former resident of Denton, in the butane business. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Haslet. Survivors include his wife, Nina, of Haslet; his step-father, Jim Fanning, of Denton; two daughters, Jo Neil Woodruff and Jessie Fayne Deane, both of Haslet; a brother, Jon Huddleston of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; two sisters, Naomi Hammond of cleburne and Mrs. Dean Pennington of Justin; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
