a. Note:   Mrs. Hattie Shuping MERCED - Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Ivers and Alcorn Chapel for Mrs. Hattie M. Shuping, 75, of Planada who died Thursday in a local hospital. Burial will be in Plainsburg District Cemetery. A native of Texas, she lived in Planada 24 years and was the secretary and past president of the Over 50 Club. Surviving are her husband, R. V. Shuping; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Pilcher of Merced; two sons, Lloyd Shuping of Lancaster and R. V. Shuping Jr. of Merced; five brothers, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
