Robert Earl Riggins, 75, died March 31, 2010. He was born Feb. 22, 1935 in Dallas, TX to Robert and Blanche (Canada) Riggins. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he enjoyed a 37 year career as a radio broadcaster at KTOK. Preceded in death by his parents and wife Doris, he is survived by his daughters Teresa Schlabach and husband Ron, Sharon Harbison and husband Jeff; granddaughters Lauren and Erin Schlabach; and sisters Mary Frances Riggins and Evelyn Ruth Riggins. Services will be Friday, April 2, 1:00pm at Chapel of the Cross, Church of the Servant with interment in Chapel Hill.
