Note: ll be held this afternoon at 2 in Littlepage Funeral Home in Mart. Burial will be in Kosse Cemetery. Mr. Leamons died Sunday morning, following a short illness. He was born in Walker County in 1903 and had lived in Mart for about 12 years. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Leamons of Mart; three sisters., Mrs. Ellen Springfield of Kosse* Mrs. Sue Walker and Mrs. Sadie Toney, both of Mexia. Mr. Leamons was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike Leamons, long-time residents of Limestone County. (Mexia Daily News, 21 January 1974 › Page 8)
