 Funeral services for Lou Allie Brown Blalock, age 86, of Quitman, La, will be 1PM Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at the Hiway Chapel Church of God with Rev. Bob Van Fossen officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive West Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro, La. with the Rev. Dennis Anger of Cypress Street Church of God, West Monroe, La. officiating.
 Mrs. Blalock died Sunday, May 23, 1999 at Pinehill Nursing Home following an extended illness.
 She was a member of Hiway Chapel Church of God since 1934 and was a charter member of the WMU and was active in fund raising for the growth of the church. She was a homemaker and former employee of Southern Advance Bag Mill.
 Mrs. Blalock was born September 30, 1912 in Hodge, La. to the union of John Henry Brown and Allie Aucoin Walker Brown.
 She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: James and Johnny Brown; one sister Lee Audrey Jones Foster; one son-in-law: Leslie Hennigan and her husband of 57 years, Loyd Blalock.
 Survivors include her three daughters: Doris Hennigan, Judith Blalock of Jonesboro and Mary Blalock of West Monroe; one son: Kenneth Blalock, Sr. and his wife Pat of West Monroe; one sister: Lula Mae Cooper and her husband Adriel Cooper of Quitman; five grandchildren and their eight children: Kathy Hennigan and Butch Hattaway and daughters Rachel and Melissa; Karen Blalock Nichols and sons, Dustyn and Tylar, all of West Monroe; Greg and Robin Hennigan of Lafayette; Sandra Blalock and Kevin
 Roberts and daughter Anslea; Ken, Jr. and Dawn Blalock and children, Kaylie of Ruston and Trey and Jourdan Blalock of Quitman. She is also survived by two step grandchildren and their families and numerous nieces and nephews.
 Visitation will be Tuesday, May 25, 1999 from 3PM until 9PM at Edmonds Funeral Home and Wednesday, May 26, 1999 at Hiway Chapel Church of God from 10 AM until the time of service. (from Sheila Johnson's notes)
