Springfield, Clark Age: 79 Passed Away: 2007-12-18 Funeral Home: Nobles Funeral Chapel - Navasota November 21, 1928 – December 18, 2007 Clark Springfield, 79, of Navasota passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center in Navasota. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 20 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, December 21 at the funeral home with Clark Springfield III officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Clark was born on November 21, 1928 in Kosse, Texas, to Ellen (Leamons) and Henry Clark Springfield. He married Anna Creagor in Bryan on April 10, 1951. He was member of the Sul Ross Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and the Shrine Temple. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Martha Harper and Jean Humphries. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anna (Creagor) Springfield; daughters and son-in-law, Jo and Fred Whitehurst of Mesquite, Texas, Jo Anna and Richard Moreland of Navasota and Martha Werchan of Elgin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Clark III and Rose Springfield of Bryan; and ten grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George Creagor of Riverside, Texas, Luther and John Olden of College Station, Mike Creagor, Robert Olden and Edmond McGee, all of Navasota. Charitable contributions may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
