Claude Ernest Potts of Port Arthur passed away Wednesday at the Senior Rehabilitation Center. He was a veteran of the United States Marines during WWII earning the Purple Heart. He was a retired manager of Fred Miller's Store in Port Arthur and also retired from raising cattle on his farm in Warren, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Potts; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Ronald Glenn; stepsons, Sandy Henderson, Gary Henderson, Steven Hubert and wife, Debra, Joseph "Jay" Hubert; brother, Clyde Potts and wife Nell; sister, Gladys Dye and husband Chris; granddaughters, Joleä Elizabeth Glenn, Toni K. Henderson, Misty Mullican and Sarah Hubert; grandsons; Jason Glenn, Dylan Henderson, Chad Henderson and Steven Hubert II; eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ellis and Annie Potts; his brother, Doyle Potts; sisters, Ruby Glass, Dorothy Smith and Bernice Hutchinson.
