Funeral services for Eva Rae Tilley, 75, of Quitman were held May 28 at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stuart Toms officiating. Burial followed in the Gayla Traina Cemetery .Mrs. Tilley died May 26 at Lincoln General Hospital.Born Sept. 17, 1927, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Tilley, and one daughter, Mary Helen Tilley.
She is survived by daughter, JoAnn Carpenter and husband Harold of Crestview, Fla.; sons, William Ray Tilley and wife Lois of Jonesboro, Johnny Roy Tilley and wife Margaret of Goldonna and Jimmy Dale Tilley and wife Vickie of Hodge; brothers, Elmer Potts of Campti and Hester Potts of Winnfield; sisters, Docia Smith of Bienville, Eula May Tilley of Jonesboro; Dorothy Lee Neely of Shreveport, Helen Hughes of Coushatta, Inez Silvie of Campti and Anna Bell Desadier of Winnfield; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Paul Gresham, Barry Doner, Mike Brooks, Charles Futrell, Dan Denton and Lavelle Loe.
Services were under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
