Birth: Oct. 15, 1916 Death: Apr. 9, 2006 Vester Eric Clark (October 15, 1916 - April 9, 2006) Funeral services for Mr. Vester Eric Clark will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in Turkey Creek United Pentecostal Church with Reverends Carol King and Jeff Wainwright officiating. Interment will follow in McCornick Cemetery, Turkey Creek under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Clark, 89 entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 9, 2006 in Savoy Medical Center, Mamou. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Vera C. Fontenot. Survivors include his loving wife of forty years, Catherine Clark of Turkey Creek; five sons, Paul Clark of Reeves, Sherman Clark of Merryville, Herman Clark of West Columbia, Texas, Wayne Clark of West Lake, and Vester Jr. Clark of Turkey Creek; six daughters, Gail Lafosse of Kinder, Sue Clark of Basile, Jenny Clark of Kinder, Pauline Jackson of Pasadena, Texas, Becky Ware and Felicia Ware, both of Oakdale; two step-sons, Terry Tucker of Turkey Creek and Joseph Tucker of Moreauville; four step-daughters, Kathy Maricle of Turkey Creek, Diane Duplechien of Bunkie, Glenda Blood of Lonepine, and Tammy Ware of Glenmora; one brother, Andrew Lennoms of Channelview, Texas; thirty grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; eighteen step grandchildren, and sixteen step great grandchildren.
