Note: Lillie Diane (Leamons) Stalnaker Lillie Diane (Leamons) Stalnaker, age 58, entered heaven's gates on January 16, 2013 from her home in Yuma, AZ. She was born January 23, 1954, in Dumas, TX. Diane moved with her family to Arkansas, then finally to Winterhaven, CA in 1958. Diane was the ninth of twelve children of Bobby and Irene Leamons. All will miss her kind words, thoughtful acts, hugs (she gave good ones) and warm smile. We will cherish our many memories of her. She will always be remembered as a loving family member and friend. She graduated San Pasqual High School in 1972 and later Arizona Western College in 1974, where she obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. She was then employed at San Pasqual Unified School District for 37 years before retiring from there. She was a long-time, active member of The First Assembly of God Church in Yuma, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Secretary Assistant, and Nursery Attendant. Diane was preceded in death by her father Bobby Leamons; brother Harold Leamons; sister Geneva Proctor; niece Becky Rhynard, and great nephew Sebastian Leamons. Diane is survived by her husband of 36 years William Dennis Stalnaker; sons Dennis Bryan (DeAnna) Stalnaker and Jeffrey Daniel (Luz) Stalnaker; daughter Brittany Danielle Stalnaker; grandchildren Bryanna Isabelle, Branden Anthony, Alicia Mikaela, and Nikolas Daniel; sisters Marie Erwin, Shirley (Jerry) Collins, Judy Echols, Juanita Hazlett and Linda (Steve) Smith; brothers Ray (Dana) Leamons, Robert (Ellen) Leamons, Larry Leamons and Gary (Brenda) Leamons; and over 100 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 26th, at 11:00 AM, at The First Assembly of God Church, located at 3000 Ave B, Yuma, AZ 85364. It will be followed by a potluck lunch at the church; those who would like to bring a dish may do so. Donations may be made to The First Assembly of God Church.
