EVELYN DENNIS
Evelyn Dennis, 73, of La Pryor, died Dec. 6, 2003, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. She was born May 2, 1930, in Asherton to Charlie and Zettie Irene Bull White. She married Lawrence Herman Dennis in Crystal City on Jan. 17, 1948. He preceded her in death June 15, 1992. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Dennis of La Pryor and Tina Capuchin of Uvalde; one son, Larry Dennis of Carrizo Springs; four sisters, Mary Foutz and Nell White of Corpus Christi, Edith Sullivan of Midland and Annie Crawford of Camp Wood; five brothers, Mark White of Big Wells, Billy White of La Pryor, Earnest White of Carrizo Springs, Henry White of Camp Wood and Wesley White of Devine; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery in La Pryor with the Rev. Daniel A. Bliss officiating. Pallbearers were Phillip Stanley, Larry Capuchin, Adrian Lane, Billy Lynn White, Earnest Wayne White and Richard Davis. Arrangements by Leonard Funeral Home of Crystal City.
