Edith was born July 7, 1937 in Cotulla, Texas to the late Charley and Zettie White. She married the love of her life, Billy Ray Sullivan, on August 31, 1956 in Port Lavaca, Texas. She spent her married life packing and moving from state to state with her husband and three young children. What she treasured the most was her husband and her children and making wherever she lived a home for her family. What she enjoyed the most was family gatherings, visiting with her friends, cooking, her friends at Tops and playing Bingo. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Ray Sullivan, and three brothers, Sidney, Wesley and Henry White and by two sisters, Evelyn Herman and Annie Crawford. She is survived by her children; daughter, Kathy Sullivan Payne and husband Bobby of Lubbock, Texas; two sons Danny Ray Sullivan and wife Marsha of Odessa, Texas and David F. Sullivan and wife Sharon of Midland, Texas; three brothers, Billy White and wife Diane of La Pryor, Texas, Ernest White and wife Virginia of Carrizo Springs, Texas and Mark White of Big Wells, Texas; two sisters, Nell Burton of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mary Foutz of Menard, Texas; 7 grand-children and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, October 21st from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel.
