CECIL FLOYD ROBERTS
Cecil Floyd Roberts, of Gardendale, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his home at the age of 73 years. He was born in Los Angeles, Texas on July 29, 1934 to Floyd C. and Mary Jenkins Roberts. Mr. Roberts graduated from Cotulla High School and worked for Schlumberger for 30 years. His wife Anna Wilma Roberts, 2 brothers Robert Lee and Marvin Otis Roberts, and a sister-in-law Georgie Roberts preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son Cecil W. Roberts of Midland; daughter Sharon Rakowitz and husband Charlie of Alice; brothers James Roberts and wife Nita of North Dakota, George Roberts and wife Ana Mae of Maryland, Harry Roberts and wife Annette of San Antonio and Donald Roberts and wife Sylvia of Corpus Christi; sister Rosemary Talkington and husband Billy of Alice, grandchildren James Brown and wife Katie, Jason Rakowitz, Stacey Rakowitz, Chris Roberts and Teri Roberts, great grandchild Zackery Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Services was held Friday, April 18, at Noon at his home in Gardendale, Texas.
