a. Note:   Wedding: Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Sharon Sue Garner and John Ray Leamons on March 7th at Lutes Gretna Green Chapel. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Jean Young of 1097 Holly Drive, and was given in marriage by Ray Hensley. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby H. Leamons of Winterhaven.
  The bride's gown was of pink chiffon, fashioned with an empire waist and short sleeves. She wore a crown of flowers to hold her illusion veil, and her corsage was of pink and while carnations. Mrs. Sherry Long was matron of honor for the occasion she wore a street-length dress of white face over blue. Her flowers were pink and white carnations.
  Best man for the wedding was Harold Leamons, with Mrs, Judy Leamons playing the organ background music. Following their reception at 27S4 West 15lh Street, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon to Parker.
  The bride attended Antelope Union High School and the Yuma School of Beauty. She is employed at Romney Inn. A graduate of San Pasqual High School, the bridegroom is working for E. W. Tunnel. The couple is at home at 2000 Walnut Avenue. (The Yuma Daily Sun, 16 Mar 1969)
  Sharon Sue Leamons, of Yuma, 55, died May 12, 2004, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 9, 1948, in Chickasha, Okla., and was a behavioral health technician. A wake will be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sunset Vista Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Vista Cemetery.

  Sharon Sue Leamons Sharon Sue Leamons went to be with the angels Wednesday May 12, 2004. She was born December 9, 1947 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents Al and Jewell Smith. She is survived by her three sons, Charley, Danny and Grant, along with her husband of nearly 34 years, Ray. Pallbearers will be her son Charley, brother-in-law Donald Hazlett, nephew Randy Leamons and family friends Steve Lackey, Mike Hewlet, and Justin Poston. A viewing will be held at Sunset Vista Funeral Home Friday, May 14, 2004 from 5-7pm. A graveside service will be held at the Sunset Vista Cemetery, Saturday May 15, 2004 at 9 a.m.
