Henry F. Page, Jr. of Bossier City, LA passed away after a brief illness. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Buster Page. Entombment will follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum. "Military Rites will be conducted by the 12th District Dept. of LA, Veterans of Foreign Wars-HONOR GUARD." The Bossier City Police Department Honor Guard will also provide honors. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Bossier City Police Department. Lt. Page was born in Bossier City, LA and was a lifelong resident. He served in the U.S. Army with the 1st Cavalry Division. Upon his return he joined the Bossier City Police Department where he worked for 32 years. He was the jail superintendent for the BCPD and was recently awarded the Patron of the Year award by the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce. Henry was many things to many people. He was strength and love to his family, a respected mentor to his friends and fellow officers and a hero to his seven grandchildren. Preceding him in death is his parents, Henry Ford Page, Sr. and Vivian Page. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Susan L. Page; his children, Paul W. Sailer and wife Stacy, Angela M. Finke and husband Jackie; grandchildren, Joni, Trey, Amelia, Trevor, Jeffory, Paige and Henry; beloved brothers, Gary Page and wife Marianne, Ricky Page; sisters, Mary Beth Robinson and husband Richard, Billy Ruth Page; treasured best friend, Kenny Viola and wife Kathy and nieces and nephews, Melissa Gleason (Thomas), Karen (Anthony), Kelly Haub (Bill), Kimberly Hughes (Huck), Melynda Cates, Marisha Thurmon, Courtney, Ricky Robinson, Jason Held, Cody Page Christopher Page and Frank Wright.
