Funeral Rites For A. C. White Held Friday
Alvin Curtis White, 63, of Winnfield died Wednesday, October 25, 1972 in a local hospital. Mr. White was a native of Jackson Parish and a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. in the Dodson Assembly of God Church
with the Rev. Carroll Grice officiating, assisted by the Rev. Elton Gunter. Burial was in the Transport Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula White; three stepchildren; four
brothers, Dwane White of Campti, Arlee White of Winnfield, Otis White of Tannehill, and Lavelle White of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Barton of Winnfield and Mrs. Ammer Lee Deese of Jonesboro.
