Charli was born in Crane in 1941 while her father was working the West Texas oilfields. They later moved to Fort Worth where she was raised and graduated from Paschal High School. She went on a blind date with her future husband, Richard "Dick" Durham, in 1957, marrying in 1961. She was an executive assistant and retired after 27 years of dedicated service at Millers Insurance Group. After retiring she and Dick enjoyed traveling in their motorhome with friends. Charli was a member of the American Business Women's Association where she was past president and Woman of the Year. She joined ABWA in 1979 and was active until her passing. A special thanks to Texas Oncology Southwest and Asana Hospice, their doctors and staff for the great work and care that was provided. We wouldn't have made it without you! Charli was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leta Pursley; in-laws, Perry and Eva Durham; and various other relatives. Survivors: Husband, Richard Durham; son, Jeff and wife, Tricia; grandsons, Corbin and Riley; daughter, Robin Lovett; grandson, Brock Lovett; many cousins; an endless list of friends, neighbors, RV'ing club members and acquaintances.
