Born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, the son of Henry and Bessie Moore, Ed used his talents to serve many people in various ways throughout his career. He most enjoyed his work repairing televisions and his travels all over the country working with Laser Boats. He was always looking for ways to help his community. While living in Roanoke, Ed served on the Fire Department, Ambulance and Rescue Services, the Planning and Zoning Commission and as The Mayor of Roanoke. Ed is survived by his wife of 44 years Edna; step-son, David Jennings; step-daughter Linda Jennings; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
