Wilma "Jean" Fisk, 80, of Amarillo died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive with John Love, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating.
Jean was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Borger to LeRoy and Mary Tucker. She was raised in Borger and graduated from Borger High School.
Jean and her husband were owner/operators for Fisk Mobile Home Transport and she also worked as the manager of Amarillo Mobile Home Estates for 30 years.
Jean married Henry "Jack" Fisk in Borger on Feb. 25, 1946. Mr. Fisk passed away in 2009.
Jean enjoyed watching the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys. She also loved feeding the neighbors horses and spoiling their calves.
Jean was always known for supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their basketball, football and soccer. She was definitely their loudest cheerleader. Her family was her life and we loved that old-fashioned cooking from "back in the days." "LOVE NEVER STOPS GROWING."
Jean will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Fisk; a sister, Merle Bessent; and three brothers, Grady Tucker, Marvin Tucker and Milton Tucker.
Survivors include a daughter, Patti Garrard and husband Allen of Amarillo; a grandson, Kevin Garrard and wife Rose of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a granddaughter, DeAnna Garrard and soulmate Mickey Coey of Amarillo; nine great-grandchildren, Allison Garrard, Torie Garrard, Tyler Garrard, Corey Gutierrez, Bryland Garrard, Audrie Arjona, Lee Casillas, Hunter Coey and Payton Coey; three great-great-grandchildren, Bentli, Kyven and Kaiden; a sister, Mary Sullivan of Tennessee; and a brother, Charles Tucker and wife Janice of Amarillo.
