Billie M. Tucker, 80, former resident of Fritch, died Friday, April 2, 2010 in Sherman. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. Calvin Winters, officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Mrs. Tucker was born on March 18, 1930, in Borger and had lived in Fritch since 1968. She married Marvin Lewis Tucker, Sr. on March 1, 1946 in Borger, and he preceded her in death in December, 2003. She was a homemaker and member of the First Southern Baptist Church. She loved to sit outside and watch the birds and squirrels. In her younger years, she was a pretty good bowler. She was a member of Tops in Fritch and loved to be around her family and friends. She is survived by her son Marvin Lewis Tucker Jr. and his wife Judy of Dennison, two daughters, Alice Hillerby and husband Bob of Sherman, and Tammy Farmer and husband Lynn of Borger, sister Virginia Ferguson of Borger, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Southern Baptist Church, 520 Overland Trail, Fritch 79036, or to your favorite charity. Family links: Spouse: Marvin Lewis Tucker (1924 - 2003)
