Note: , 2007 Lucille Strickland Lucille Strickland, 70, of El Dorado, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at her residence. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young's Chapel with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado. Issue: Sunday, December 9, 2007 Margaret Strickland Margaret "Lucille" Strickland, 70, of El Dorado, died on December 7 at her residence. Mrs. Strickland was born on January 28, 1937, in Soper, OK, to James Leonard Johnson and Bertha Viney Holder. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smackover. She was formerly a nurse at Warner Brown Hospital for 20 years and retired from South Arkansas Regional Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orlin Strickland. She is survived by a son, Eddie Cole and wife Kathy of Junction City, AR, a daughter, Cathey Griffin and husband Johnny of El Dorado, a step-son, Gary Strickland and wife Belinda of Smackover, four grandsons, Craig Griffin and wife Cathey, Jesse Cole, Lane Griffin and wife Lindsey and David Cole and wife Felicia, one special granddaughter, Courtney Renee and five great-grandchildren, Reece, Braden, Kyla and Peyton Griffin and Christopher Cole. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Young's Chapel with internment to follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church 200 West 12th Smackover, AR 71762. The family will be at the Griffin residence at 601 Ables Drive in El Dorado.
