Note: AMOS LEE LEAMONS (10/28/1938 - 12/30/2001) Amos Lee Leamons, 63, of Lancaster, MO, formerly of Memphis, MO died in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO, December 30, 2001. He was born to Amos Alvin Leamons and Mattie Lou Copeland Leamons on October 28, 1938 at Arkadalphia, AR. He was employed as a laborer in the logging field in Arkansas. He had been disabled for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Goodin and husband, Ronald of Lancaster, MO and Brenda Kizziar and husband, Jeff of Arkadalphia, AR. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Elisa Gooden and Tamara Roberts of Lancaster, MO and Eric Clay and Aggie Kizzar of Arkadalphia, AR; four great-grandchildren. His parents and a granddaughter, Lori Leamons, preceded him in death. The body has been cremated and burial will be in the Easley Cemetery in Gurdon, AR. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial may be given for the family. Memphis Funeral Home of Memphis, MO was in charge of arrangements.
