Note: er. He was born Jan. 27, 1930 in Los Cruces, NM. At 16, James joined the Army and was a veteran at 17. James enjoyed life, people (especially children), telling outrageous stories and flirting with pretty ladies. He loved going to Las Vegas and shooting craps. At age 18, he married Thelma Spence and they had seven children. In 1963, he married Cassie 'Pat' Hannas, who preceded him in death in 2001. James is also preceded in death by his son, Jackie Lee Davidson, his first grandson (born on James' 42nd birthday), Kevin Lastowski, and a daughter, Claretha McCullah. He leaves behind five children - Sharon Nebgen and husband Phil, Oklahoma City, Tony Davidson and wife Deloris, Martinsville, IN; Greg Davidson and wife Marsha, Keller, TX; Debi Bailey, Del City; Gwen Briggs, Choctaw; step daughter, Barbara Jones and husband Keith, Meeker; brother Ikey Davidson and wife Jane, Eufaula; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren (with 3 on the way); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at his home at 1 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2006. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Hospice of Oklahoma County, 4334 NW Expressway, Suite 106, Oklahoma City, OK 73116.
