  Henry C. "Jack" Fisk

 Henry C. "Jack" Fisk, 84, of Amarillo died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.
  Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with John Elser, chaplain of Thomas E. Creek Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, officiating.
  Mr. Fisk was born April 5, 1925, in Liberal, Kan., to Newell and Edith Rose Fisk and grew up in Leedy, Okla. He attended Amarillo High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II with Gen. George Patton and was part of the 95th Infantry serving in Germany, France and Russia.
 He married Jean Tucker on Feb. 25, 1946, in Borger. He had been a resident of Amarillo since 1942. Jack was an iron worker for Missouri Valley Construction for 16 years and later managed Amarillo Mobile Home Estates on River Road. He also owned and operated Fisk Mobile Home Transport for many years. His love was his wife of 64 years, Jeanie, and his family who will miss him dearly.
 He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charlie; and a sister, Aileen.
  Survivors include his wife, Jean; a daughter, Patti Garrard and husband Allen of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Kevin Wayne Garrard and wife Rose of Colorado Springs, Colo., and DeAnna Garrard of Amarillo; a brother, Larry Fisk and wife Joyce of Phoenix; seven great-grandchildren, Allison Garrard, Torie Garrard, Tyler Garrard, Corey Gutierrez, Bryland Garrard, Audrie Arjona and Lee Casillas; and three great-great-grandchildren.
  The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., Seventh Floor, New York, NY 10001.
