 Mrs. Piearcy died Saturday at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1912, at Madill, the daughter of Samuel and Hattie Bell Johnson Hatcher. She had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, Idabel.
  She was preceded in death by one infant child; one daughter, Alma Gertrude Teague, in 1965; two brothers, Paul Hatcher and A.E. Hatcher; one sister, Mary Folena; her first husband, Ciscero Spence, in 1934; and her second husband, Dick Piearcy in 1986.
  Survivors include a daughter, Gretta Cox, Millerton; two brothers, Lan Hatcher, Valliant, and Bobby Hatcher, Swink; a sister, Georgie Ginnis, Valliant; and one granddaughter.
  married Edward Piercy
  Her sister married Thomas Spence's brother.
